When in Copenhagen: Part 3

The next day was our last day and we made sure we were well rested as we wanted to make the most of it!

We headed to the City Centre and looked for a place to have Smorrebrod which is the famous Danish open sandwich. It was honestly the best sandwich I have ever had in my life!!

I had a salmon and veggie one as the meat wasn’t halal but it was still amazing! If and when you are in Copenhagen you NEED to have one of these sandwiches!

We then made our way to the Rosenborg Castle. It was much smaller than I expected but it was still beautiful. We were able to go in and see the rooms, the jewellery and crowns!

After exploring inside, we just had a little stroll outside and of course, a mandatory photo session:

It was about 5/6pm at this point and we realised that we hadn’t actually had the chance to view the city as a whole. We thought of some places that would still be open and made our way..

We ended up on top of the Rundetaarn which is a tower in Central Copenhagen.

That’s what it look like from the inside. It’s actually not that bad walking up to get to the top.

We ended our day with some scrumptious Danish pastries:

Copenhagen is such a beautiful place and for those who have always been in doubt or have never thought to visit, I seriously urge you to because it is AMAZING! You can thank me later.
